BUYER GUIDE

Your logo on wooden spoons and sticks: how heat-stamping works.

No inks. No labels.

We heat-stamp your logo into the wood of ice cream sticks, spoons and cutlery from your vector artwork. Nothing is printed on or stuck to the wood, so the mark cannot rub off and nothing can transfer to food. Branded orders start from 10 cartons and can be done quickly. The 75 mm wrapped spoon is the one exception: it carries your logo on its printed paper wrapper instead.

How logo heat-stamping works

A heated stamp carrying your logo is pressed into the wood, so the mark is burned into the surface in a warm brown tone. There is no ink and no label: the mark is part of the wood itself, so nothing can rub off or transfer to food.

  1. Send your logoShare your logo as vector artwork, the file your designer made it in. If you are unsure which file that is, send what you have and we will confirm.
  2. Approve samplesWe heat-stamp samples with your logo so you can check the size, placement and sharpness of the mark.
  3. ProductionThe approved mark goes into production and is stamped the same way on every piece.
  4. DeliveryBranded pieces are packed like the rest of our range, in cartons marked with product and batch number.

Heat-stamping vs printing

WearCannot rub offCan wear or scratch
Food contactOnly wood touches the foodThe ink sits on the surface that touches food

On the wood we heat-stamp only, so no ink touches any stick, spoon or fork. The one printed item is the optional logo on the paper wrapper of our 75 mm wrapped spoon.

Tips for a clean mark

Keep it bold

Solid shapes and thick lines stamp more cleanly than fine detail, thin outlines or gradients.

One tone

The mark comes out as a single brown tone. If your logo has a one-colour version, send that one.

Make text large enough

Very small lettering can fill in on wood. Your name or wordmark reads best when it is kept large.

Confirmed on samples

We confirm the size and placement of your logo on samples before production, so there are no surprises.

Which products can carry your logo?

Our wooden ice cream sticks (93mm and 114mm), disposable wooden spoons from 95 to 160 mm and our 160mm fork, knife and spork can all be heat-stamped. On spoons and cutlery the logo usually runs along the handle.

Branded orders start from 10 cartons and can be done quickly; your quotation confirms the lead time. The 75 mm wrapped spoon is not heat-stamped: we print your logo on its paper wrapper instead, and your quotation confirms the minimum for printed wrappers.

Logo branding: questions

More answers are in our FAQ.

What is the minimum order for branded wooden spoons or sticks?

10 cartons for heat-stamped products: 100,000 ice cream sticks, or 100,000 spoons for our 95 to 160 mm sizes. Unbranded orders start from one carton. For printed wrappers on the 75 mm spoon, your quotation confirms the minimum.

Can you heat-stamp the 75 mm wrapped spoon?

No. The 75 mm wrapped spoon is not heat-stamped. Instead, we can print your logo on the paper wrapper around each spoon; the spoon itself stays plain wood.

How long does logo heat-stamping take?

Branding can be done quickly. Your quotation confirms the lead time for your order, after you approve the samples.

Can my logo be heat-stamped in colour?

No. Heat-stamping burns the logo into the wood in a single brown tone, with no inks. If your logo has a one-colour version, that is the best one to send.

Will I see my logo on a sample before production?

Yes. We heat-stamp samples with your logo for approval first, so you can check the size, placement and sharpness. Send your logo to get started.
